I crafted a map and with some orienteering, I located my island (closest to the “4” on this map), the larger island (off to the West), and “Flower” (at the center).
I found a beautiful small island, and just off its coastline, there was a small red flower growing on a block of dirt. I instantly thought of a name for this island: “Flower.”
I set off headed south from my island. It began to rain, and I was hoping to hit some land so I could get out from the weather.
I’ve been doing some traveling by boat around the island. Sometimes, when I come back, there’s still not enough light, and the mob have overrun the island. I usually just wait them out, admiring the view of my outpost.
Until I can bring over my pig farm, I’m going to be eating a vegetarian diet.
The island is small, without trees or animals. I built a small house, and settled in. I did do some mining, and I found yet another abandoned mine. It’s odd that a mine could be so far from the mainland.
While traveling the ocean, I saw a small island. At night, it was populated with a mob, but I was intrigued. Island living? I could be up for that.
It’s the morning before I head out. I’m leaving the jungle, the well, and (mostly) my memories of Benny. I’m going to see what else is out there.
Benny’s Gone
My tamed ocelot, a Siamese cat that I named Benny, is now lost and is most likely gone. I’m tremendously sad. As he and I explored the enormous cavern, I would often run faster than he could follow, trusting his strange ability to teleport to me when the time was right. One time, probably during some mob fight, he never came back to my side. I blame myself. I miss you Benny!
